UNITEAM VS TROPA

Tonight ends the grueling, heart-wrenching, exhausting yet exciting 90-day campaign period for the national candidates – the presidentiables, vice-presidentiables, and senatoriables.

As it ends, the two frontrunner teams UNITEAM of BBM-Sara tandem and TROPA of Leni-Kiko tandem, gives all out for there respective meting de avance.

The UNITEAM of BBM-Sara tandem held their meting de avance at the grounds of Solaire Resort and Casino at Parañaque City. The grounds is approximately 5 hectares which can accommodate up to 450,000 maximum.

On the other hand, the TROPANG ANGAT of Leni-Kiko tandem held their meting de avance at the historic Ayala Avenue right at the heart of Central Business District, Makati City. The 4 intersecting roads is about 8 kilometers both sides which has an approximate gross area of 14 hectares and can accommodate up to 1.2 Million maximum.

THE RESULTS AND DATA:

CROWD:
The BBM-Sara Meting de Avance organizers claimed to have a crowd of more than a million, but according to independent news outlets that is impossible, the conservative estimate is 100,000. The most generous estimate of the crowd is at 200,000. Still waiting for the final crowd estimate from PNP.

While the Leni-Kiko Meting de Avance has final crowd at 1,000,000 (1M) according to PNP and organizers. But some generous estimates pegged the crowd at more than a million. It has become the biggest meting de avance ever in the Philippines after EDSA.

FACEBOOK:
The BBM-Sara has a 141.2K peak live viewers. With 120K reactions, 25K shares. And at the end of live viewing, it has a collective 1.4 million views.

On the other hand, the Leni-Kiko has a 265.9K peak live viewers. With 410K reactions, 503K commente, and 95K shares. And at the end of live viewing, it has a collective 5.1 million views.

TWITTER:
The BBM-Sara meting de avance is trending at twitterverse. It is able have 1 trending topic in the top 20 trends in the Philippines which is #UniTeamBBMSARA with 18K tweets.

But, the Leni-Kiko meting de avance is overwhelming the twitterverse with 19 out 20 top trending list in the Phiippines and has 3 top trending worldwide. #MakatiIsPink becomes the top trending topic worldwide and in the Philippines with almost half million tweets. #PhilippinesIsPink also trended worldwide and in the Philippines with 190K tweets. Leni Robredo also trended with more than a quarter in a million tweets. And so many more trending tweets related to it.

YOUTUBE:
The BBM-Sara tandem has no official youtube video. What I got is the live video of the verified Youtube account of Leni Robredo which has a 176K live views. At the end of the live viewing, it has almost half a million views for the meting de avance.

With that, I can say, LENI-KIKO tandem prevails over BBM-Sara tandem. The metrics and data available suggest that for the culmination of the campaign period with their respective meting de avance, the Leni-Kiko tandem is miles ahead of its nearest competitor.
